Business and healthcare background

Evan graduated from Lake Erie College with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. He has spent more than seven years in healthcare administration, consulting, physician compensation and healthcare technology, and is currently Director of Physician Compensation Solutions at Ludi.

It is work built on understanding how complicated systems fit together, and on explaining them clearly to the people who rely on them.

Rooted in his community

Evan has a strong connection to Painesville and Lake County, Ohio. He serves as Vice President of the City of Painesville Planning Commission and as Vice President of the Board of Extended Housing, Inc., a Lake County housing and support nonprofit for people living with serious mental illness. He was a candidate for the Ohio House of Representatives in 2022.

These roles are Evan's own and are independent of Flow for Tomorrow.

Competition as a teacher

Much of Evan's athletic record was built on the wrestling mat. At Riverside High School he was a four-year varsity letterman and three-time All-Ohio athlete. At Lake Erie College he was a three-time NCAA Division II National Qualifier and a 2014 NCAA Division II All-American, three times a team captain and three times an Academic All-American, and he was inducted into the college's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024.

He has since become a professional Brazilian jiu-jitsu athlete, a brown belt and member of the Gold BJJ Fight Team, with a 2024 IBJJF No-Gi Purple Belt World Championship among his titles. The full record appears below.
